Tha last of three drawings i had to do for my application to the Rhode Island School of Design (aka RISD)

The prompt was to do a drawing using both sides of the paper so i folded the paper and cut it to make a toolbox you could open and close.

I've been looking all over the internet for references and examples of drawings on both sides of the paper and this so far is the only one that I've found. It is very different and unique.

Man this is awesome! So...the whole folding thing-obviously you can do something like this, but how did you mail it? Like, i'm starting to fold and cut my drawing as well, and I'm confused how to mail it with the whole 8x10, folding in quarters thing.

You folded and cut it? but aren't you supposed to fold it into quarters before putting it in an envelope? How did that work?

aaaah what an original idea. i didn't even think of cutting the paper...
i like that you even made real handles for the drawing :)

did you cut everything from the original 16x20 paper?
